Issuing Certificates on Lost Fire Arms

When the applicant informed that the permit was lost he should be informed to make an entry in the police and bring its copy. |
When the applicant comes with the copy of the entry he should be directed to the approval of the staff officer. |
After the approval of the staff officer, the form “General 1128” is filled, Rs. 10/= is credited to the Head 1003-0705 and the receipt is taken. After that the form C.S.V . of the secretary to the Ministry of State Defense Is issued with the signature of the staff officer. |
After the signature of the staff officer the certificate on lost fire arms is issued by taking a signature of the applicant. |
Issuing Watcher Permits

Applying for a watcher permit by the applicant after selecting a person as he wishes to use the fire arm. (An application should be given for that and the applicant should be instructed to bring the approval of the Grama Niladhari/ Divisional Secretary / Superintendent of Police) |
